A juried art contest for local artists working with various mediums!

In an effort to beautify the city of Willoughby and foster a sense of community and place-making, the Willoughby Arts Collaborative, in partnership with the City of Willoughby and Heart of Willoughby, solicited local and regional artists to submit work. The chosen images adorn traffic boxes throughout the city.  The resulting public art installations add interest to our city and offer a shared interpretation and experience for residents, visitors and businesses.

These canvases splashed throughout Willoughby serve to reimagine ordinary, mundane, and some would say visually unappealing, utilities as scenes from beneath Lake Erie, images from the shores of Lake County, local favorites, and fun food-inspired illustrations.​
