The 5th Annual CHALKFEST, sponsored by the Willoughby Arts Collaborative will be held on Saturday August 9, 2025, 10:00 AM -3:00 PM in Downtown Willoughby. This event is part of LAST STOP WILLOUGHBY. The Fest will kick off with a parade through downtown Willoughby. Watch for our two colorful stilt walkers.
This year’s Chalkfest will feature an internationally known Chalk Artist, David Zinn from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mr Zinn has created original artworks which have appeared on the sidewalks of Michigan, subway platforms in Manhatten, village squares in Sweden and street corners in Taiwan. The public can also enjoy watching local artists as they chalk downtown Willoughby buildings and sidewalks. Local artists, many who are students or graduates from the Cleveland Institute of Art, will be creating original chalk art on the side of buildings or on a sidewalk.
